Stop blaming foreigners !
Why should foreign universities be interested in developing local talents?
1. Our own government isn't interested in doing so either, and has been in this track for the past 39 years or so. Brain drain is the result, and brain drain is still happening.
Meaning: Our country is being brain drained to death by our own government.
2. We do not teach our kids to think. We bring them up to obey our wish.
Kids that cannot think for themselves cannot learn anything by their own. This is a problem widely known to many of us who have spent quite some years abroad. Narrow-mindedness is the "IN" thing among most Malaysians.
3. The kids do not fail. We have failed the kids.
In the ever pursuit of more A's, we have turned our kids into robots. Their aim is to memorize everything for a short-term gain. After the exam, everything, including the kitchen sink, is thrown away. Wiped clean.
Kids don't know how to apply what they have learnt from Algebraic Equations in solving the Chemistry Reaction puzzles, even if both are of the same principle.
